The Sholom Aleichem Network, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation registered in New York State. It has received 501 (c) (3) status from the IRS. A copy of the determination is available here.

Projects of the Network include but are not limited to the web site, digitalization of original material, printing of books in Yiddish and other languages, optical character recognition of translations, new and re-translation
of the corpus, data base of the archives and a searchable index available to researchers. Additionally the Network is involved with cataloging and presenting works in video and audio to the web. A curriculum is in development for web deployment with a teacher training section. Seminars/Lectures are planned.

The Network began in 1996 and it is now the highest ranked site for Sholom Aleichem on the Web according to all major search engines.

The Network accepts contributions to support its activities. An online form will accept Credit Card contributions by Secure Web Server.

Larger gifts to underwrite complete programs are welcome and contact should be made with the office. Gifts of stock, real estate, and real property are also accepted.
